I have been weight lifting for over 20 years. I have long competed in both powerlifting and natural bodybuilding.

I started weight lifting to build confidence and to develop strength for high school sports. I started competing as a power lifter to provide myself with more drive and dedication and eventually started competing as a natural bodybuilder to provide myself with the knowledge that I can accomplish any goal I set.

The supplements I take allow me to recuperate more quickly, develop more strength and avoid over-training while enduring the calorie restriction of pre-contest dietary regimen or simply surviving the stressors of intense weight training throughout the year. I take the above listed supplements (including glutamine, creatine, whey protein powder or a MRP, etc) throughout the year whether I’m dieting for a bodybuilding contest or not. I also experiment with new products when they come to the “nutritional marketplace” in the hopes of improving my health and performance. My weight training cycles throughout the year and includes both high and low volume and both “heavy” and ”light” days. I probably spend the most time training for size and strength and using low numbers of sets and reps with heavier loads while doing basic movements. I really enjoy training and the way it makes me feel and look.

I will never go without my supplements because I know "they do my body good!" (and my mind!)
